EV1/EV2/EV3: Electrical Vehicles Installations Safety (ADK: D-5/700)

Get know how and instructions about latest situation in e-mobility and the actual regulation. UNECE regulation No. 100 about details of safety requirements for the electric power train or road vehicles and ECE R100 Rev2 about European requirements for the approval of road electrical vehicles specifies all tests that must be carried out on lithium batteries installed on EV. Get equipped with knowledge about electrical safety, quality and operability. Practical knowledge, experiences, inspections, testing, measuring and reporting are crucial to lower the risks and fulfil the appropriate level of safety and quality according to standards and / or directives HD 60364- 6. On the practical example of MI 3333 EV Training Vehicle, we will learn about electrical safety testing devices, perform all necessary measurements, safety precautions and working energized procedures.

Areas of Application

  • LV electrical installations for electrical vehicles.
  • First and after crash recurrent Inspections.
  • After maintenance & after service testing of electrical safety.
  • Testing and measurement of electric vehicle equipment to UN ECE R100/IEC
  • Implementation and provision of appropriate protection for electric shock and arc flash safety.
  • Electrical safety testing after accidents and after servicing of electrical parts.
  • Inspection of the insulation of the power part of the REESS battery system, BMS circuit, inverter and motor.
  • Inspection of the positive and negative poles of the energised power system, inverter and motor against touching metal parts.
  • Inspection of the electrical safety and insulation quality of the socket and charging wiring.
  • Inspection of the arrangement of the equipotential bonding connections.
