Electrical Safety & Health Certificate of Competence (EE or LV Energized)

Only electricians can carry out work on live and near live parts – Working Energized. They can take the EE or LV Energized exam in accordance with the regulations; others should choose the EE or LV LockTag exam.

In addition to passing the EE or LV Energized exam, workers who work on live and near live parts must also be specifically qualified in the area in which they are working. They can demonstrate their specific qualification in accordance with local regulations, and they can also demonstrate their competence by passing the Eedison competence exam in accordance with the standards.

The specific qualification is the responsibility of the worker carrying out the live work.
